OMDI needed an online store to sell services to customers outside of their existing program, without moving away from the familiar website experience their customers had come to expect.
After years of using their existing website, OMDI wanted to preserve the look and feel that customers were already familiar with while adding a new e-commerce component to the business.
They needed a Shopify store to handle online payments and inventory tracking for the new e-commerce side of the business. This also required custom Shopify code and integrations to support their online booking system.
Solution
A new Shopify store was created with services added as products, each requiring a booking system that would avoid adding extra workload to the administration team. The store was then integrated into the existing website so OMDI could accept payments and track inventory through Shopify while still providing the familiar interface their customers had come to expect.
To track this new revenue source, an automated process was created to deliver the necessary information to the right people within the company.
